Tank Monitor 100 Kit

Fluid level monitoring system for plastic holding tanks

The LevelGuard Tank Monitor 100 provides accurate, early warning for single point, high or low level conditions. With digital certainty, the LevelGuard Tank Monitor 100 is the reliable choice for monitoring fluid levels in a single tank. This tank monitoring system is suitable for any applications that carry water-based solution: industrial or farm liquids, bulk beverage or dairy, fresh or waste water, sewage, ground water, coolants, pesticides or fertilizers.

Features:

  • Unique bi-directional sensors allow you to use the same sensor for low or high-level triggering
  • Low-level: wire it one way and Tank Monitor triggers an indicator when liquid falls below the sensor
  • High-level: wire it in reverse and tank monitor triggers when levels rise above the sensor
  • Tanks can be any volume
  • Can operate off of solar power as it runs on low-amperage output from solar cells (ideal for remote fluid level applications)
  • No mechanical float switches or moving parts to jam, fail, or wear out
  • No exposure to corrosive liquid
  • No probes to get clogged or coated
  • Easy installation
  • No tank intrusion required
  • Sensors attach to exterior of tank with aggressive adhesive (unaffected by moisture or vibration)
  • 1-year warranty

How it works:

Field-Effect sensors (encased in rugged plastic) create an invisible, low-power electric field that detects fluid levels. When a conductive material, like water, enters the LevelGuard "e-field", the sensors detect its presence and trigger the alarm. Tested to millions of cycles in fluid control applications, LevelGuard  performs reliably under extreme conditions of temperature, humidity, UV, vibration and salt water corrosion and is a robust solution for challenging environments.

Specifications:

  • Voltage rating: 12 to 24 VDC. Min recommended 6 VDC; Max 30 VDC
  • Low current draw reliability. Operates off solar cell amperage for remote locations
  • Sensor draws 0.120mA not activated; <0.5 mA activated
  • Can connect to an indicator panel, audio buzzer or relay to remote signaling device
  • No damage if wired with reverse polarity
  • Self-resetting 1.1 amp-dc internal fuse on output
  • 250 mA max continuous load current. Actual carry current dependent on ambient and fluid temperature
  • CAUTION: Note for use with metal tanks. Can be used with fiberglass tanks if surface is smoothed so sensors have full contact

Kit Contents:

  • LevelGuard Tank Monitor display panel with LED indicator light (12-volt only).
  • LevelGuard Tank Monitor 3-wire sensor with 12" (305mm) wire leads
  • Fuse holder
